Millennial Leadership: Dig Deep to Discover how your Millennial Salespeople are Motivated
Knowing what really motivate your existing and emerging salespeople may come as a big surprise. What if I tell you that taking the time to find out could be the key to growing your business?
My recently released eBook, Millennial Sales Motivation is a resource to assist you as you guide them to identify what they want, personally and professionally.
In our Sales Audit, we dig deep to discover how motivated your salespeople are. Plus, we look at how they are motivated. Here are some of the questions a Sales Audit will answer objectively and accurately:
- Do they love to win or hate to lose? The difference is subtle, but you need to take a different approach to motivate each of these types of salespeople.
- Do they prefer being micro-managed? Or, do they excel with self-management? It’s important to know, because some emerging salespeople cannot self-start when left to their own devices.
- Do they prefer recognition? For some, the ultimate reward is receiving an award or being listed as the winner. Others feel the self-satisfaction one gets from knowing they’re the best is all they need.
“Meet with each member of your sales team, including Millennials, one-on-one. Guide them to identify what they want, as an individual, and as a salesperson. These vital discussions will be the springboard of their personal and professional success.”
