Many business leaders are concerned about the gap they see in the character, emotional maturity, interpersonal skills, and communication competencies in next-gen leaders. Some are asking, “How might higher education contribute in closing the gap?”
Gordon and I went on a 5,000 mile trip with a team of experienced motorcycle riders to see the beauty of Vermont and New Hampshire.
Our first stop was in Fargo, ND to attend a private Business Leaders Roundtable with President Trump. During that visit, he autographed Millennials Matter! What a kick-off!
From the back corner of the room, I saw my dad talking with him, and said to myself, "If my dad is there, I need to be there also!" Then, I weaved my way to the front. I knew that I needed to be there.
This was my first thought when I saw my dad in conversation with President Trump.
And so the Millennials Matter Movement continues to grow!
When we return from our motorcycle tour, there are more interviews and speaking engagements waiting. All the help and continued support are helping to make Millennials Matter a great success. Here are some of the people I would like to thank. To see more pictures of the people and places I've been, clickhere.
My phone rings. It’s Sarah. I sensed that she’s very upset. She desperately wanted the promotion, but she failed the interview. She’s convinced that this means the end of the line for her at her current job. Now she’s asking my help to update her resume. So, we set up a coffee time.
At my recent TedX Talk, I shared Sarah’s story to inspire the audience to take the time to help Millennial Leaders discover their Life’s Core Purpose.
What are you doing to get your Millennial sales leader aligned with how they are wired for success?
