As AI becomes a bigger part of our everyday leadership development, knowing what’s right and wrong is no longer optional - it's vital. A recent report —the AI Christian Benchmark, from The Gospel Coalition— reveals that only 3 out of 10 Christians feel confident using AI in ways that align with their values. Even more concerning, many say they’re losing their sense of right and wrong as technology becomes more convenient. Did you catch that - losing their sense of right and wrong?!?

Focusing on leadership development, I’ve often written about my admiration for Bob Tiede, author of Leading with Questions. His work resonates deeply with me—after all, in Millennials Matter, I referenced the power of questions 157 times. So when his latest newsletter landed in my inbox, it hit at the perfect moment.

I recently had a leadership development conversation on LinkedIn. This comment reminded me of the importance of being determined to be a discerning leader during this AI Revolution. In my LinkedIn post, I said, "There’s a growing concern that AI will enslave humans, especially once it reaches AI Singularity. However, I believe the enslaving will be subtle and gradual. In my original YouVersion devotional, I talked about the leadership development concept of Convergence - but I didn't name it as such.  So, hang on. This concept challenges me. As my job shifts and my health changes, I wonder what's happening to my leadership influence.  Convergence challenges me to reconsider God's perspective.
