Spiritual Leadership

AI is changing faster than ever. The real question is, how will you lead in the middle of it? What leadership skills might help you navigate the digital and technological storm? AI is no longer just a buzzword—it’s already shaping the way you work, lead, and make decisions. But beyond the amazing tools and possibilities, it also stirs up some tough questions: What values guide the way you use AI? And how do you keep your leadership grounded when the world around you feels like it’s accelerating?

My current leadership development focus (and my upcoming book) is building leaders with character to lead in the Age of AI. Grounding leadership in strong values and sound judgment is critical during this time of rapid change due to digital and AI advancement. This Washington Post article offers a sobering reminder of why that foundation matters more than ever. In fact, I was quite shocked at what I was reading.

What in the world is Transhumanism?  How does it relate to the leadership development, mentoring, and coaching we do with up-and-coming leaders?

We’re in a 500-year shift — where AI is redefining truth, work, ethics, and human identity.

We are living in a time that demands unprecedented levels of Wisdom, Insight, Knowledge, and Discernment (W.I.N.D.). Yet, many of us are unaware of these vast changes and choose not to get engaged with cultural issues.

From a leadership development perspective, I'm thinking about Romans 1: 22, 25  today as it relates to continued advancements of AI: 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.

"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."— Psalm 90:12

We live in a digital world that bombards us with images of success and filtered portrayals of significance. Social media, notifications, and constant connectivity push another’s idea of a meaningful life (insinuating that we aren't cutting it as a person or as a leader.)
